Let your faith be bigger than your fear.

why it’s important to have faith that overcomes our fears.   We have been living in a world that’s perplexing and upside- down. We need to develop a faith that is greater, more powerful and more unwavering than any fear we may experience.  We need to learn to use the strength of faith to conquer our fears.

Understanding Fear is a natural human emotion. We all face fears in various forms, whether they are from past experiences, the unknown future, or the challenges we currently face, fear affects us in different ways.   However, giving into fears can hinder our progress, steal our joy, and prevent us from experiencing the abundant life God has planned for us.

We can face our fears head-on thanks to the mighty force of faith. It is a firmly held conviction that there is something bigger than ourselves, that God is in charge, directing our steps, and working everything out for the best of us. We can move beyond our constraints and into the realm of God’s potential through faith.

There are many examples of people who faced great fears in the Bible who overcame them by relying on their faith.   1.  Abraham demonstrated unwavering faith in God’s promises when he was asked to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Gen 22:1-19.   2. After initially being hesitant to address Pharaoh, Moses eventually put his faith in God’s assurance and guided the Israelites out of Egypt. Ex. 4.   3. When David faced the powerful Goliath, he relied on God’s power rather than his own. 1 Samuel:17.

By spending time in God’s Word and praying, we can develop a faith that dispels fear. We need to learn about God’s character and His promises to us, which is why we should regularly study and meditate on Scripture in order to strengthen our faith and gain perspective.

Knowing that our Heavenly Father is with us will give us the courage we need to face our fears. Our relationships with our loved ones are just as important as our times of prayer and communion with God. As communication improves over time in relationships, so too does our faith when we make prayer a regular habit.

We can give our fears to God through prayer, ask for His direction, and encounter His indescribable peace. Being a part of a church and surrounding ourselves with other people of faith enables us to interact with other believers who will encourage us, support us, and serve as a constant reminder that we are not alone in our struggles. We can encourage one another and share our testimonies of how God has helped us overcome our fears by working together.

We frequently disobey God when we listen to him. When God speaks, we must pay attention and submit to him. Faith demands action; it is not a passive thing. We set ourselves up for God to work miracles in our lives when we move out in obedience to God’s calling, moving boldly even in the face of fear. He infuses us with a spirit of power, love, and good judgment rather than one of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). We must keep in mind that fear does not have the final say as we navigate this turbulent life. Let our faith overcome our fear instead. We can conquer any fear that gets in our way by developing a strong faith in God, spending a lot of time in His Word, asking for His presence in prayer, and surrounding ourselves with a loving church. Let’s approach every obstacle with unwavering faith
